Why do you wanna be apart of our PoliceRP Staff team? This is still a small community, and it's growing quickly; I would love to be a part of the growth of the community and help support the server in any way possible. I like the structure and roleplay that PoliceRP brings, and I'd enjoy helping manage things so players can have the best experience possible. I can be on for around 4 hours per day on a work day, and 8 hours on days I am not working. Staff will be the primary duty, and roleplay will be secondary. I want to work with the staff team and get work done. I want to have an impact on the server in a good way and make myself known. I want to ensure there is always a staff member online to assist players, whether at 3 AM or 3 PM.

 

What makes you different from other applicants? I have been playing GMOD since about 2016. My GMOD experience in staffing is listed below. My familiarity with server commands and GMOD mechanics allows me to moderate effectively and quickly. I have a lot of knowledge on how to conduct a proper staff sit, properly use admin commands, and deal with mass rdm situations and most situations that come my way as a staff member. I am mature and easy to talk to within the community. I know the basics of every rule because I have been staffed on most servers I’ve played on. I have reviewed the server rules and ensured I know how to enforce server rules properly. I think I’d be a good fit for the admin role because I can jump in and handle problems fast, keep things fair, and make sure players have a good time on the server. I treat everyone with respect, whether you respect me or not. I am not here to discourage people from playing the server but to teach them how to play the server properly without being reported. Even repeat offenders can turn the tables and become good players. I have a strong understanding of SAM commands; as that is the primary menu I use on most servers, I have staffed. Every factor matters when it comes to a staff sit. I am looking to apply for the administration position if possible.

Player A kills Player B for stealing his car but Player B didn't advert carjack what do you do?  Teleport both individuals to a staff sit. Ask Player A why he failed to advertise Carjack. Listen to both sides of the story. Check logs and any evidence that is presented during the sit. Determine that Player A failed to advertise before stealing Player B's car; therefore, he is in the wrong. Check Player A's history and see if it is extensive. Determine punishment based on the history of the players' warnings. Give Player A the !MOTD to ensure this doesn't happen again.

 

Player A being a hobo buys a home & sets up a base what do you do? Speak with the hobo and inform them that they are unable to buy property and must roleplay as a homeless individual. And that if they would like to purchase property and base, they would need to switch off the hobo job. No formal punishment will be given unless it becomes a repeated problem with this said hobo

 

You see a staff higher up abusing their power what do you do? Always follow the chain of command. After seeing a higher-up staff member, you should first gather evidence such as screenshots, recordings, logs, etc. Secondly, do not confront the abusive staff member, which can lead to arguments and possible retaliation. Lastly, take it to the higher ranking staff member above the said abusing staff member and inform them of the situation and let them handle it and or submit a staff report on the forums

+1 from myself. Noting this is an ADMINISTRATOR application, not a standard staff application. I will await further feedback from the community before proceeding.

+1 I like the amount of experience they have and their answers to the questions were good, Especially with gathering evidence i do have to admit i was initially confused about some of the things of "Roleplay overseer" and "Enforcer". It's a really well made staff app I'm even more surprised they did this on a phone i also like how they put the time stamps for the experiences and listed them in an order we'd understand. +1 overall

Thank you for applying, @Jake. Your application and experience is rather impressive. With that being said, I would like to move you onto the next phase in this process. Please be weary that this process will work differently as opposed to the average staff interview, as you’re interviewing for administration. Your skills will be put to the test.
